Couples in Birmingham celebrate judge's ruling striking down Alabama's same-sex marriage ban

Barbara Hauck-Grigsby was sitting at the bar at Al's on Seventh in Birmingham Friday night, and she turned to her wife, Jessica.

"We should have our honeymoon again," she said.

The pair will celebrate their third wedding anniversary in March, but until Friday, their marriage wasn't legal where they live. A federal judge in Mobile Friday struck down Alabama's ban on same-sex marriages.
