June 2015 will mark the 27th anniversary of PrideFest as well as the 37th annual Pride Parade. These events are the culmination of a week-long series of PRIDE events held in June, and are the largest LGBT gatherings in Alabama. Such large community events couldn't take place were it not for all the volunteers who help in the office, at the Parade, and at PrideFest.

 

We deeply value the diversity of our community, and the accessibility of the event. Volunteers contribute greatly to our ability to keep PrideFest free of charge. Additionally, volunteers make a very direct impact on CAP's capacity to support non-profit groups and to give back to the community.
